Growing and learning new things...

Mommie took Sara and Ingrid to the mall today to let them play and work out some energy because the weather has been rainy and cold lately and they have been shut up in the house and not sleeping good at night. When they do not sleep good, guess who else does not sleep good?? (Mommie and Daddy) So here are a few photos from the mall. Also, they are learning new skills. Sara is brushing her teeth on her own and loves it! She does a good job of it too. Sara is also talking more. She loves to call out to "Mommie" and also to "Daddy". Giovanna will give Sara the phone when I call home from work or school and she will call out "Daddy, Daddy" and then say "bye" and blow me a kiss. No matter how tired or discouraged I am, that lifts me up and gives me energy to finish the day! Ingrid is drinking from a "sippy" cup on her own. She skipped the bottle and is going straight from drinking from mommie to the cup, which is great! Ingrid is also crawling very good now and is getting fast and beginning to try and pull herself up. They are growing and learning so many new things and it gives us a sense of how our heavenly Father must feel when we grow spiritually and love and adore Him in our worship!

awe so cute! man i miss triangle town center!! i use to go to all the time.
one tini tiny warning .. with sara brushing her teeth.. thats fine, i thik its great for them to learn that motor skill and independence.. but its very important for the parents to brush til the kid is like 6 or maybe even older. thats just what ive heard from dentist and friends with older children.

what i do w/ caleb (who is 4 1/2) is i allow him to brush his own teeth in the morning time.. he realy likes doing it on his own.. and does a great job! at night though since foods sat on those teeth longer and what not.. i brush them for him. and explain to him why mommy needs 2.. and that i just want to be sure all the germs and food are off so he doesnt get cavities.. (travis' family is known for weak teeth, he had a mouth full by this age).

SO far so good :-)

just my 2cents.

hope all is well tho. the girls are just lovely!

thanks for the warning. Of course, I supervise Sara's brushing. I let her do it first and then I do it for her b/c she really doesn't how to brush it, she just like the taste of the toothpaste in her mouth.
