Peruvian dance

We went to the Festival del Puebla in Raleigh today and there was food, dancing and crafts from all of Latin America. Here is a very famous Peruvian Dance, the Marinera, which we enjoyed very much.

Playing in puddles

We were blessed for the rain today! and I let Sara and Ingrid play in the puddles for the first time ever, they both were wearing their rain boots that I got from the sharing shop; by the way, praise God for this ministry it has blessed us in a mighty way. Frank got a pair of umbrellas for them from Lifeway and they haven't got the opportunity to use them until today in the rain. They had a lot of fun playing in the mud with their boots. Sara was so excited wearing her boots and Ingrid was looking so cute with her raincoat, boots and umbrella. It wasn't really raining when I took them outside but I thought it was time for them to dressed up for the rain and have some pictures taken from their proud mom. I had so much fun taking their pictures and watching them play; of course, after that they had a nice bath.
Enjoy it, Giovanna

1 Corinthians 3: 6-8

I'm proud that these flowers are still alive. I try to keep them alive, but most of the time I forget to water them or I water them too much, with Sara's help (she loves to water plants, one is almost dying for too much water). I think is the first time I have enjoyed having these flowers on my deck and watch them grow nice and beautiful. The red ones are Geraniums, the hot pink are begonias, the green with long branches is a fern and a bush that I replanted from Patricia's (Frank's aunt) garden, it was only a little stick and it has taken more than a year to grow like that. Plants always remind me of this verse 1 Co. 3:6-8 "I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor."
have a blessed day, Giovanna
