Keys please......

We've posted alot of pictures and videos, now it's time to hear some true life adventure stories of our family. Mommie has the first true adventure and it will be hard for Daddy to top this. February 28 began as a typical day in the Ellington home with mommie getting up around 7am with Sara while daddy gets a few extra minutes of sleep and rest. By 8:30 everyone is usually up and fed and daddy is off to school and/or work, usually to return home around 5:30 or 6pm. This day, mommie had plans for her and Sara as they were going to meet her good friend Jessica and her little 1yr old boy, Aiden. (Daddy keeps a close eye on Aiden!) They have a wonderful time at the library story telling time and then they go to Aiden's grandma's home, Mrs. Pat, for a wonderful lunch social. After the social, mommie stops by Wal Mart to pick up a few items. After shopping, she is putting Princess Sarita in her car seat. Sara is in a stage of playing with keys for some reason. She loves to play with daddy's keys, and when mommie puts her in the car seat, Sara reaches for mommie's keys. (Do you know where this is going??) Mommie lets her have them to play with so that she can put the items which she bought in the trunk of the car. It's cold outside, so mommie shuts the car door. As she finishes putting the items in the trunk, she hears the sound of doors locking.... our sweet princess had pressed the button on the control and locked the doors! Mommie is now locked out of the car and Sara is locked in! Mommie is confused and in a state of panic and Sara is having fun playing. Mommie is trying to tell Sara to unlock the car but Sara in only does not know those words yet. (in Spanish or English) Mommie gathers a crowd and they get a locksmith to come unlock the car while Sara has begun to cry and throw a fit. The car is unlocked and mommie and Sara return home from their adventure and take a nap. Keys are very important and doors need keys to be opened. You have the keys to your heart and Jesus knocks and needs you to open the door. Have you unlocked the door to your heart and invited him in?

First weeks of February 2008

February has been an exciting month. Sara is walking alot now and she really likes to walk. (see videos below) She is also clapping her hands when she hears music. Mommie has been working hard planning her birthday party for Feb. 23. The party will be at papa Wayne's at 2pm and Sara has invited many children to come celebrate the big event with her. Mommie is getting bigger as the new baby is really growing. Everyone is telling us that it will be a boy. Sara likes to push mommie's belly button because it has popped out! Mommie wouldn't let me put the photo on here! Sara also experienced her first snow. It wasn't much, but it was some. Sara is really active playing with her toys and getting her hands into many places and things that she shouldn't, but she is learning. Her favorite videos to watch now are The Wiggles. Mommie got a new Wiggles video and when she put it in, Sara began dancing!! These are wonderful moments and we are so thankful to our Lord God that he has blessed us with this beautiful gift.

A princess on her birthday

I celebrated Sara´s birthday with my family and friends here in Peru yesterday. It was a wonderful time! Sara enjoyed the clown show and the music, she loves to dance too!. She was a cute princess, with her crown. She didn´t realize she had it on and I was able to take some pictures! Actually, she doesn´t like to wear nothing on her head anymore. But seems like she is picky in what to wear she loves crowns.
Greetings from Peru,
Love,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Giovanna and Sara made it safe and sound to Peru! Sara did good on the airplane, got fussy a few times but was overall good, and Giovanna had a lady beside her that was some help to her. As they were going home from the airport people were shooting fireworks throughout the city and they brought the new year in in a taxi! Giovanna said Sara was excited watching all the colors, etc.. I was relived to hear everything went well and I know that my Lord Jesus Christ, in whom all things consist (Col. 1:17), carried my girls to Peru safely and will show them even more grace by blessing them with a wonderful time of fellowship with family and bringing them home safetly to me. God bless you and I encourage you to make this year a special one in your relationship with Christ.

Baby Ellington #2 !!!!

Here is a photo of Sara's new sibling! The nurse said that the baby is very healthy and very very active! The baby kept moving and also opening its mouth to drink. The baby weighs 8oz. This is a great image of the head. (click on the picture to see a larger version) Sara was not too concerned with watching the screen but rather wanted to play in the floor with the ultrasound machine and the nurses chair. We did not find out the sex so everyone will have to wait for the big surprise with us; something to look forward to in this "gotta have it now" world we live in. Viewing this image reminds me of Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Enjoy and Dios te bendiga..... (God bless you)!
