Baby Ellington #2 !!!!
Here is a photo of Sara's 
new sibling! The nurse said that the baby is very healthy and very very active! The baby kept moving and also opening its mouth to drink. The baby weighs 8oz. This is a great image of the head. (click on the picture to see a larger version) Sara was not too concerned with watching the screen but rather wanted to play in the floor with the ultrasound machine and the nurses chair. We did not find out the sex so everyone will have to wait for the big surprise with us; something to look forward to in this "gotta have it now" world we live in. Viewing this image reminds me of Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Thoughts from Frankie
WOW! What a year! There have been many wonderful memories to reflect upon from 2007. (Check out the slideshow below for a review of special moments in our life) It has been an extremely difficult two semesters at school. I am about the graduate college with my Bachelors degree in Biblical Studies and History. My mind has been in so many different directions this year and sometimes I feel like I am unable to give 100% in anything. But all I can do is do my best and know that the Creator and Master of this Universe, the Lord Jesus Christ, will take my best and use it for His glory in the long run.
Giovanna and I see the world in a totally new light now that we have our little girl Sara. Giovanna is an awesome mother as she somehow finds the time to get up at 6:30am every morning with Sara, feed her, make breakfast, help me get out the door without forgetting anything, take care of Sara all day (which is a real adventure!), make lunch, make dinner, and then put up with me when I get home with all of my complaints and needs... What a woman she is! God is so awesome and full of grace to give me so great a woman that I certainly do not deserve.
Sara is growing so much. I feel like a kid again b/c I am her playmate. We play, laugh, giggle, act silly, and watch Sesame Street together. She will be probably be walking some time in January, when she goes to Peru to spend a month with her family there. They are really looking forward to meeting her and they are currently making plans for a birthday party for her. Her aunt Sandra is working hard making all the preparations.
It is Christmas and I hope you take the time to reflect upon what Christmas is. It is not about Santa Clause. It is not about children. It is not about eating and seeing people. It is not about gifts. (it's not our birthday anyway!). It is about what Paul describes in Philippians 2:5-11. Read it and see if you "get it". MERRY CHRISTMAS! -frankie

Playtime
Here is Sara looking nice dressed to go to church last Sunday. Usually, she is always the last one to get ready, otherwise, she would not look so neat and clean for sunday. She has different toys to play with, however, she likes to play with electronics things. I do not know what it is about this, but she loves it. We know is dangerous so we have to watch her at all times, otherwise she will get herself in trouble. As a little child she does not understand what danger is yet but hopefully as she grows she will listen to her parents voice. This reminds me that many times we as adults can not recognize our Heavenly Father's voice either; isn't that interesting?

Sara's Dedication Nov. 11, 2007.
This is Sara's dedication service. It took place on November 11, 2007 at Dexter Baptist Church by pastor Matt Queen during Revival. It was a beautiful service. Sara showed how much she loves her daddy. She didn't let me hold her at all. She wanted her daddy!!! It was so cute!
Frank and I wrote letters to Sara and we read them during her dedication. In the same way, pastor Queen wrote a letter to Sara and she will be able to read her letters when she is old enough to read. For those who do not know what a dedicaction is, it is when Christian parents present their child to the Lord, just like Jesus did: "Let the little children come to me...." Mark 10:14

Esta es la dedicación de Sarita. Se realizo el 11 de Noviembre del 2007 en la Iglesia Dexter Baptist ( donde pastoreamos), durante un servicio de Reavivamiento. Fue un servicio precioso. Sara mostro cuanto quiere a su papi, no me dejo cargarla para nada, solo queria que su papa lo hicicera!!!! Fue gracioso!!!
Yo y Frank escribimos cartas para Sara y las leimos durante su dedicación. De la misma manera, el pastor Queen tambien escribio una carta para Sarita y ella podra leerlas cuando aprenda a leer y escribir. Para aquellos que no saben que es una dedicación, es cuando los padres creyentes (evangelicos) presentan a su bebe a Dios; asi como lo hizo Jesus con los niños : "Dejad que los niños vengan a mi......" Marcos 10:14.

We had a wonderful time at my cousin Michelle's home for Thanksgiving. Sara played with her cousins, Maryjo and Tucker, while Daddy and Bob watched football, and Mommie and Michelle made preparations. We had turkey, ham, veggies, stuffing, and Giovanna made a delicious home-made macaroni and cheese dish that went very quick! We also had a time of Thanksgiving and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ from 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, reflecting and thanking God for the immortal resurrected body that awaits those who have put their trust in Christ. Here we are posing and having a great time!
